Club Night - The Phoenicians Before Columbus Expedition - Tues 29 March

In light of growing evidence, Philip made it his mission to prove that the Phoenicians could have sailed across the Atlantic Ocean 2,000 years before Christopher Columbus! 

After 6 months, and many challenges and excitements along the way, the Phoenicians Before Columbus Expedition attracted international media attention when the crew made landfall in the Americas; proving once-and-for-all that an ancient Phoenician sailing vessel was capable of reaching the ‘New World’.  

Philip’s stories have been gathered over years of being a ship’s captain and expedition leader. His engaging and motivational talks about sailing, travel, history, leadership and entrepreneurship, which he has recounted to audiences around the world, always make for entertaining talks which I believe your members would find extremely interesting.
